Business Development Executive

Telemarketing Consultant
Telemarketing Consultants are responsible for developing and marketing Peninsula within a geographical area. You will work closely with a field based Business Development Executive creating sales opportunities with business owners/directors to promote Peninsula’s services. You will deal with lead generation for the company, booking new business appointments for our Business Development Executives.
Your main marketing tools, with the help of your Business Development Executive, will be via telephone, email, fax, mail shots, networking events and through arranging Employment Law/Health and Safety events within your area. You will also inherit an existing client base from which you can develop new business.
First full year OTE £25,000+ (totally uncapped). Our highest achievers earned in excess of £50k last year.

Documentation Consultants
Your main role will be as office based support for the Employment Field Consultant who carries out visits to our clients on their premises. You will be responsible for checking client’s documentation, correcting any illegal terms and typographical errors as you see fit. You will also liaise with clients over the telephone on a regular basis and deal with any queries as appropriate. In addition, you will ensure that deadlines are met, attend team meetings as necessary and record work using our computerised log system.
You will be supervising a number of other members of staff and responsible for a certain area of the UK or Ireland. You will be confident in the use of Word, Excel and Outlook and be able to work in a team environment. Some knowledge of employment law / experience in the legal field is essential.

Legal Services Consultant
You will be a member of a team of Legal Services Consultants specialising in the management of all aspects of Employment Tribunal matters from client case inception, through to Tribunal hearing and beyond. You will required to work unsupervised and will report into the Head of Legal Services based in Manchester.
You will receive and handle in the region of 35 cases, managing the file totally from client inception stage through any necessary Tribunal hearings until the matter subject of the case file is resolved.
Job Content -
- Review case file and deal with any issues arising.
- Arrange client visit and liaise with client regarding convenient times and locations.
- Understand client visit, obtain where required witness statements.
- Manage hearing dates with client and Tribunal clerks.
- Represent clients in any relevant Tribunal hearing.
- Deal with post Tribunal matters arising - remedy, reviews and appeals.

The Role:
- Responsible for providing helpful advice on Staff/Employment issues to our clients.
- Ensuring knowledge of employment law and staff management is continually updated.
- Delivering commercially focused advice that helps our clients avoid unnecessary legal challenges.
- Provide advisory skills to support our clients and build relationships in order to strengthen our service.
- Advise on the implementation of statute/contract compliance.
The Successful Candidate Will Be:

Health & Safety Consultants
As a Health and Safety Consultant in our Field Consultancy Team, you will be responsible for servicing clients within defined regional areas. The service involves visiting clients premises, evaluating compliance with health and safety legislation, the production of a subsequent report, providing clients with a health and safety management system, with includes risk assessment documentation and giving advice on its use.
As a Health and Safety professional applying for any of the above positions you will as a minimum:
- require a NEBOSH diploma or equivalent;
- have a proven track record of success as a practicing Health and Safety professional;
- be self-motivated with excellent organisation skills;
- be computer literate;
- be able to work on your own initiative with minimum supervision;
- be able to work from home (Field consultants are home –based);
- have CMIOSH status

Employment Field Consultant
Employment Field Consultants maintain and help expand our client network through preparation of employment law documents and guiding clients through using the Peninsula service. You will be based from home, travelling across an allocated postcode area visiting clients. You will also provide training to our clients.
You will have extensive experience in a client service environment with a strong emphasis on building client relationships. You will have knowledge of the preparation of contractual documentation and a working knowledge of current employment law, although full training will be given.

Freelance Associate Seminar Presenter - South West and Midlands

Our growth since 1983 has been sustained by retaining existing clients whilst securing new business through a range of marketing initiatives, one of the most successful of which has been our Employment Law and Health & Safety road shows organised throughout the UK by our Seminar and Events Department.
To support the increasing demand of seminar bookings we are looking to enhance our team of presenters with a Freelance Associate Seminar Presenter based in the South West area that we can call on from time to time. The ideal candidate will be a confident communicator, experienced in public speaking and able to deliver topical, informative and entertaining presentations on Employment Law and/or Health & Safety. This position will suit someone with a track record of conducting business seminars using their presentation skills to maximum effect.
Employment Law and Health & Safety knowledge or experience would be advantageous but not essential as training will be given. The key requirement is a charismatic and dynamic personality coupled with the ability to convey the effects of Employment Law and Health & Safety Regulations on businesses today to mixed and varied audiences. Further travel around UK may be required.
A daily rate of £250 - £300 plus expenses will be payable.
